Database Query Tool
This page allows administrators to directly query REDCap's MySQL/MariaDB database. You may enter an SQL query into the text box below to execute it. Since only read-only queries are supported (i.e., show, select, explain), this tool is not able to modify database tables in any way. You may also save custom queries on the left via a popup dialog. Saving a custom query allows you to easily run the query at any time by simply clicking a link on this page's left-hand menu.
Custom Queries:
You can add new custom queries or update the custom query title or SQL query of any existing query by uploading a CSV file with a new Custom Queries configuration. The format for the CSV upload file can be acquired by exporting the CSV file of your existing Custom Queries. NOTE: Custom Queries can be renamed by simply changing the Custom Query title or SQL query in the CSV file. Custom Queries cannot be deleted using the CSV file. If you wish to delete a Custom Query, please do so using the specified "Add or edit custom queries" popup provided on this page.
Select your CSV file of Custom Queries to be added or modified:
Displayed below is a preview of all the changes you are about to commit. Please look over the changes, and then approve them by clicking the Upload button. A value with a gray background denotes that the value will not change. If it has a green background, it is being added. If yellow, it is being modified.
